3. Secure Boot

This page will explain how you to disable Secure Boot.

How to check if Secure Boot is enabled?

  • Firstly please navigate to your Windows Search Bar (Bottom left of PC)

  • Now type System Information

  • Once you are here please locate secure boot state if stated as "On" please follow the next step below, However if already off you can skip this step.

How to disable Secure Boot?

  • Firstly please press Windows + L this will take you to your login page here hold shit and hit restart

  • Once you have held shift and hit restart it will take you to the Windows Boot Menu

  • Here locate advance settings > UEFI/Firmware then click and you will be taken to your BIOS

  • Find the Secure Boot setting in your BIOS menu. If possible, set it to Disabled. This option is usually in either the Security tab, the Boot tab, or the Authentication tab.

  • Save changes and exit. The PC reboots.
